Technical Services

Since its formation in 1993, 10,000 Years Institute has worked to effectively integrate academic science with applied resource management decision-making. The Institute does not conduct political or environmental advocacy; rather, our scientists provide technical services and perform research, including analysis of laws, policies, and development proposals as they pertain to the long-term sustainability of river, estuarine, and forest ecosystems.

10,000 Years Institute scientists have project experience in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, Vermont, Washington, Canada, Mongolia, and Russia. We seek working partnerships with individuals, agencies, and institutions that require sophisticated technical analyses or innovative research in the context of contemporary natural resource management challenges.
